This may not involve giving you medicine or tablets, as there are other ways to treat you, so please do not expect a prescription on every visit. You may require advice on how to prevent illnesses in the future.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The surgery provides minor surgery, but if you need specialist advice or treatment, you will be referred to the hospital. Patients with minor injuries should attend Casualty.<\/p>\n<p>The caring key question had the most positive feedback and fewest concerns, whereas most concerns fell under the safe key question. Our main areas of concern related to:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\n<li>safe and effective prescribing<\/li>\n<li>awareness of safeguarding and establishing patients\u2019 identity, particularly for children and their parents or legal guardians<\/li>\n<li>arrangements for clinical oversight, governance frameworks and quality monitoring and improvement<\/li>\n<li>recording details and managing patients\u2019 care records<\/li>\n<li>gaining appropriate consent<\/li>\n<li>sharing information with a patient\u2019s NHS GP or other health professionals in accordance with guidance from the General Medical Council (GMC)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><b>Consultation chambers<\/b> where patients are provided medical, surgical or allied(physiotherapy, dietetics) consultation and expert opinion.<\/li>\n<li><b>Examination rooms <\/b>where patients can be examined for any disease condition.<\/li>\n<li><b>Diagnostics<\/b> which have radiology, pathology, microbiology and other diagnostic services and\/or sample collection points<\/li>\n<li><b>Pharmacy <\/b>which provides medications to the patients.It is the section of the hospital where patients are provided medical consultations and other allied services.
